I thought it was 'family problem', but function does make more sense.

I got all but A1 from the grid, and for the bonus, I guessed 'without A leg to stand on'.

IMO, if A1 had equal signs at the end, the 'some/sum' part might've been more apparent to me.

Bonus - I interpreted it as Without A leg to stand on

C2 - either Double time or time after time

D3 - I had inattention as well.

So is 'partay' the official answer for the bonus?

I missed B2, 'Family problem' or 'formula for a family' were my two guesses.

And I have to admit I cheated for B3. Someone said it probably was a song, but I don't know any songs with those words, so I Googled "Crimson clover song", and of course it came up with the lyrics.

The rest were fairly easy.

For the bonus I had ‘A missing leg’. I kinda like it better than Apart, as i dont really see where the ’part’ fits in except that ‘part‘ of the A is missing.

edited to add….I got family function, but I thought about disfunctional family because of the wonky ’y’. Then thought better of it.

Jasdip, you need to contact the puzzlemaker and inform them that the Bonus answer is incorrect. We pretty much all agree that is is ”part-AY”.
