Thirty years ago, in my 9th grade humanities class, we read a poem I am trying to locate. I don't remember the author or title, or the subject, even, so it's likely a tall order! I think it was by someone relatively well-know, and it was probably written sometime between the 1960's and early 80's at the latest. I DO recall a line that contained a sentiment that went something like this: "people living in California naming their daughters Kimberly or Jennifer." Does that sound familiar to anyone? I don't recall if it was a good poem or not, but for some reason that line stuck in my head. Thanks!
