My house is painted a really great color that I don’t see called Wheat Bread by Behr. It is a chameleon color that usually looks more grey but sometimes more tan. I looked at pics online but they are way more brown than my walls are. I do have it by other walls that are painted, River Rock by Behr, that I thought was grey but ended up being blue. So the cool blue must bring out the cooler grey of the Wheat Bread. I get lots of compliments on the colors. I’ve had it 9 1/2 years, before anyone started using “greige”. I just called it taupe ; ).

Your room is beautiful. I do agree that perhaps a basket with some some texture would look great in the space. I also feel the cognac sofa could be balanced out by bringing some of that color over to the other side of the room. If you're not wanting to add wood shades, perhaps just a pillow with a bit of that color in the chair? Perhaps just lowering the art to about 8" above the top of the sofa and bringing each piece in about half again as close together would help it feel more cohesive. I agree with you though, that the the large pieces add drama.

I would like to begin saying that I love the minimalist aesthetic you have. I’m a less is more person and I don’t like random artwork for the sake of filling walls. With that said, I’d like to see more color warmth on the walls. The buttery white is making it too stark. Have you considered painting? I would try the sectional against the buffet wall to free up the window, and add your teal accents into the window treatment. Eliminate the glass table or move it between the chairs. Add more unique floor lamp lighting near the couch. The buffet can then be moved to the kitchen wall.
