a very very light gray. the cabinets have the warmth of wood but I dont see warm shades at all in counter...maybe in real life they hold warm streaks???? so the lightest of gray will be a neutral play w cabs and work especially w counter. the counter will probably stick around...cabinets sometimes get changed w paint/stain or gel etc.... so work w counter mostly.

Simply White in flat looks a little different than Simply White in semi-gloss. Are your cabinets semi-gloss or eggshell/satin? The difference in sheen changes our perception of the color. My point being you could just paint the walls Simply White and there will be some contrast. If you want more contrast, look at Floral White OC-29 and Soft Chamois OC-13. Soft Chamois for me is a little too bright in a south facing room but brightens up rooms with different exposures. As with all paint, the only way you're going to know what is going to work in your space is to sample.

That is a lovely kitchen. Thanks for posting it. On my monitor the cabs and walls look to be slightly different. The walls seem to have more colour to them than the cabs. A nice BM white for cabs is Steam in the aura line and off-whites that seem similar to the walls in the pic might be something like French Canvas or Old Prairie.

Hi! I am terrible at colors and would like to get suggestions from the pros on what wall color would match a room with a light green couch and a kitchen in the background that's grey (kitchen and living room share the same area and is where I will paint the walls). Below are photos of my couch and the grey kitchen (you can disregard the furniture in the 2nd pic as they aren't mine) thank you a bunch in advance!
