Change out hardware on vanity to black and it will help tie everything together. I probably wouldn’t have chosen cobalt blue tile but tie that in by adding some accessories on vanity and a hand towel in that color. Big job and looks pretty good.

The end result is tasteful but what a shame as you could have had an absolutely fabulous bathroom if you retained the tub and the sink.

It turned out beautifully. I love the blue tile and the patterned tile is a nice complement to it. I always hate to see vintage baths eliminated, but personally hate pink so much, I'd likely have done the same thing. Nice to see something besides gray/white/marble/fake marble posted here so frequently! Looks like your tiler was excellent, too.

Yeah, we have a pink bath too…I like your redo. Naysayers haven’t had to fight to clean old grout. it’s time for us to let it go also.

Functionally that pink bathroom was, unfortunately, dead. We used it for 10 years after the original owners had for almost 50! We had to shut off tub 18 months ago due to leaks and my husband had MacGuyvered some flossing tools to keep the sink drain in place. And there was no way any of it could get truly clean. A bit sad but we’ll always have the Pepto-colored memories. Thanks, y’all :)
