Thanks for the help! We did not find it on the water line, but an astute friend discovered the Kohler name under the spout, along with numbers that I assume is the style number. We are not the first owners of the home so I'm guessing they aren't going to replace my problem, but I'm still going to ask. Our faucet isn't leaking; instead, it's actually peeling above the button (on the other side of that photo). Maybe expected for a Chinese knockoff, but not for a Kohler.

Having an intimate knowledge of the American Standard Companies, I recognized the logo immediately. Here's a little American/Ideal Standard history, if you're interested: From humble beginnings in 1872 when US businessman, John Pierce, opened a tinware shop in Massachusetts, Ideal Standard has deep and rich history that brings this iconic business to where it stands today. Opening offices in London and Paris in 1896, the American Radiator Company (as it was then), rapidly grew to become the world’s largest supplier of heating equipment. Following more impressive mergers in the late 1890s, Standard Sanitary Manufacturing Co. was born. By the early 1900s, such was Standard Sanitary’s success that the company evolved to become the largest supplier of plumbing goods in the world. Allison, that is the one I found that I really like but it’s over $900! It does come in black, whereas the other one doesn’t so I’d have to get oil rubbed bronze. Not my favorite but I’m not sure it’s worth $700 to get the black, sigh.
