Michael Dirr The Hydrangea Book

Just got this yesterday and am 60 something pages in and am truly enjoying it. I don't subscribe to everything Dr Dirr suggests, but I am finding the book to be easily the best Hydrangea book I have read, easily superior to his 2004 offering and Ballato's Success with Hydrangeas book. I have been hoping to find a Hudrangea version of David Austin's The Rose, and while this isn't quite there, it is pretty dang close and a very enjoyable read. He focused heavily on newer varieties but also gives info on older ones as well. If you like Hydrangea books give it a look.
