Please, what paint for the sisal and cream/beige look?
Comments (2)Hi, Oceanna. We have yellow tones downstairs, so I wanted to go more beigey to be both cooler and calm looking in summer and cozy at night, maybe with accents of green and brown and dark metals. Strangely, we have never in all these years done any beiges or browns, so I have no favorites to draw on. I've tried samples of some of the medium beiges, including yellowish ones, recommended on this site, but they just seem too dark and heavy (plus too pink, too gray, too green, etc.), so I thought I'd better move lighter. And ask for recommendations from people with experience because I suspect I may not be recognizing color(s) that would work well from the splotches on the wall....See MoreLooking for a beige paint with a hint of pink

Pale Oak BM Driftscape Tan by BM Driftscape Tan BM from Apartment Therapy Chocolate Mouse BM Chilled Chardonay BM Maybe this one is too pink and gray Bashful by BM... I still like it. I will keep looking but let me know which of these are close to what you are thinking. ~boxerpups Oh and here is this, maybe this can help too....See MoreLooking for a light brown/beige paint
Comments (1)We used three shades of Sherwin Williams in our Entry, LR/DR and stairway. Accent color is Latte, LR/DR drop in tone to Kilim Beige and midway up the stairs and for the 2nd floor hall Divine White - a still lighter tone. We see no pink undertones though I have seen discussion about that with some colors. I believe lighting may be an influence. Comments (20)@Lori A. Sawaya can you share your favorite paint colors used with travertine in your experience? My floors are more "busy" and darker than OP photo's shown. I had an "enhanced" sealer applied so I have way more color on the floor. It is making my head spin trying to choose paint color for open house floorplan that has good windows but house is dark usually because all windows are covered with shaded outdoors. Trying to pick a neutral paint color that will lightened things up somewhat but I don't think my house (with dark brown heavy furniture) will ever read "light and airy" and I guess I am ok with that....See More- 2 years ago
