Comments (12)Thank you Carol- i will look up the names you provided as it is alway nice to discover new plants. i was buying small celery plants when i spotted it next to the Parsley. -i did ask for the name, but i didn't write it down (it was not a herb that i had ever heard of) but i was told it went in pies. i thought it looked like Burnet. possibly some flavour will develop later -so far it just tastes fluffy :-(...See MorePlease help ID house plant
Comments (6)thanks so much for the responses! Here is the full plant. The stalks aren’t strong enough to stand on their own (the stalk is so narrow), so I’d like to potentially cut some of it down/ potentially propagate it. But I want to be sure to do it right for the type of plant it is, and it’s been challenging finding the identity....See MorePlease help ID this plant ...
Comments (4)Thank you, Ken. In NY, my Chnese Evergreen was on top of a wall unit, on the corner closest to the window. I watered weekly in summer (feeding every 2 months) and 2x month Sept-Apr. I keep these in the gallery/atrium, which is a 2nd floor open air garden with the walls of a 3rd floor above it. There it receives all day bright light but little to no direct sunlight. I have these in the same high drainage soil I use for my bromeliads, hoyas, terrestrial orchids, adeniums, and plumeria, so it’s fine under the rains. Of course, I’ll feed these monthly at 1/2 strength. Our area has very high humidity and it seems to love just where I have it ... It’s grown tremendously in one month....See MorePlease help ID aquatic plant in northern Ontario!
Comments (1)I can't tell from the photo where this plant is growing from. There is a branch or root underneath it. Is the plant growing from the branch? More pics, including a pic of the root system would help. The only plant I can think of this possibly being is an Equisetum species. The grainy texture and branching fits. The branching rules out quillworts, Isoetes. It could be something entirely different though....See Moreken_adrian Adrian MI cold Z5
