SEEDLINGS from the past few days

This is a seedling from seeds purchased from Ed Burton on the LilyAuction.

A Dan Trimmer seedling from when he was still on Long Island, NY.

A cross of the above seedling with PURE AND SIMPLE. This bloom is smaller than the DTS. I am thinking that I need to work on the sepals. They either need to be larger or roll back or both.

LEONARD SAUTER seedling. Is was crossed with Beautiful Edgings. It has a different look everyday.

I don't know the cross as I lost the sign. It is about 4.5 inches.

VICTORIAN LACE X BOUNDLESS BEAUTY: With each passing year, this one seems to change. The first year it bloome it was flat and round and not as ruffled. Last year it had a bit more ruffling. This year, ruffled and angel wings can be seen on the top petal (barely in this picture).

Here is the same bloom at 5 pm after 90 degree heat and humidity.

Can anyone identify this difficult to eradicate weed?

Lots of pretties here David. I love the big open flats so the Ed Burton seedling is a winner. And I like the ruffles so the Victorian Lace seedlng also gets points!!

I put your weed through my plant id app on my phone and this is what came up. You can research and see if this fits what you have.

That's funny Ruth. Sherry Lane Carr was one of my oldest daylilies here. It grew contentedly and productively for many many years until a daylily friend of mine saw it and had to have it. I gifted it to her as it was time to move on to other yellows......Shores of Time got to bloom last year before going down for the count over last winter. Upon seeing that bloom I was reminded of why I kept trying to grow her. What a pretty thing she is and why I enjoyed seeing yours...........Maryl

A few open a few ago, this are still baby roses that I got end of June. George Washington Richardson . The rose is thick and no wind is going to shatter this petals. It open yesterday . No scent Below is RJG, Let me see if I am going to mess up spelling. Rhodologue Jules Gravereaux or something like that. I can smell something but it is very faint. The last one is David Austin rose but I cannot remember the name. Okay, I got it. Lady Megginch. I love the color but I got sides track . I totally forgot to smell it . Picking a few from the past few days

I did try to put another section in comments but lost it twice. As I said, so many blooming now (you know, Kay) that it is hard to select just a few when you have so many you want to show. I think this is the year for Clown Parade to shine-unbelievable how much it has multiplied and has decent bud count and scapes. This is a small section of my roadside bed. I had posted part of the round bed close to the house in the comments that would not post and I have three other large beds in the front garden. Oh, and another half of that roadside bed-and the beds that surround the house and glory, glory, I now have the reclaimed jungle bed!!! I think I will save all those pictures and dedicate a post just to those. Thank you for comments!! Oops, forgot to mention that the Starling lily has not multiplied well-this is third year and I have two scapes up and no increase in fans. Time for a talk?
