Need help with design

I have this mirror and it looks pretty empty, it's right behind the chair and sort of next to entry table. I have no idea what to put in there to balance but not overwhelm the area. I will have the curtains on windows if that makes a difference. Any ideas? Thank you

You have more elevation to descend than we do but here are a couple perspectives of pur egress deck. This has worked well for seniors to come outside with or without assistance. Also to safely transport food and beverages. Consider options for steps, then design a roof to protect.

It looks like you were considering placing the fridge between the sink and the range? If so, that's actually something to avoid. A good kitchen design avoids vertical obstacles between sink and cooktop - that area is your primary prep space. Continuous countertop between sink and cooktop is optimal. Here's a suggestion where a new 6 feet opening is centered on the dining room wall with the range opposite. It's best to have the refrigerator near the kitchen entrance so folks don't cross through the primary work space to grab a quick drink or snack. The white rectangle in the corner between the two openings represents a high cabinet/pantry. If you wanted to try to squeeze in some kitchen seating, you could try a ~30"x30" pub table with stools that tuck under.

Mirror is too large for the space. The curtain rod should be hung at least 3' wider on each side of the window so then the panels would be behind the mirror. Unless you are doing inside mount roman shade. Also the mirror doesn't reflect anything worth seeing twice. What is on the other wall?

It will be only one 50 inch panel on each side, so when the curtains will be open the mirror side won't be "affected".

That's the other side,directly across the mirror. I am for other ideas,like replacing mirror with art or family gallery?

You don't need something on every increment of wall. I'd leave that zone blank, and find another spot for the nice mirror. Also, I'd remove the picture that's wedged in the corner by the table in your last picture -- shift it to the wall to the left if you really want it hung in that area. As for the first zone, I think you need a tall plant or floor lamp in the empty corner, rather than more things on the walls.
