Here's some more info on green and hazel eyes.

Here's a photo of my eyes, which you can see are definitely hazel, with green in the outer portion and brown/gold surround the pupils.

In bright light they look more green, and in dim light they look more brown, and so they tend to change color somewhat. I also always thought that hazel was a common color, since it is common in my family. My mother, one brother, and maternal grandparents all had hazel eyes. Blue is more common in my family, however.

Something most people have not walked out on, then. Hmm. I've walked out on a church, a job, a family reunion, maybe a long, slow line in retail. Always have heard of people walking out on movies, but have not done that. Maybe a dull lecture? No, probably way more than 17% leave dull lectures.

Lars, my eyes are exactly like yours. i never knew whether to say they were light brown or gold or what. My three nieces have green eyes and sons have blue.

I just wish i had better vision!

My eyes are largely gray with sometimes looking more green, sometimes more blue...but gray is even more rare than hazel.
