Is a roman shade for a 60 inches wide too wide to operate

Hello Designers! I need your expertise or at least opinions. I have a bedroom window that is 60 inches wide by 42 inches long and I would like to do a roman shade with a blackout lining. On one side of the window there is plenty enough room for an inside mount shade but as the window slides to the right- the ride side is almost flush with the window trim. The window measurement with trim is 66 by 48.

My first assumption is that I will need to do an outside mount shade.... is that correct?

My next question is - is 66 to 70 inches too long of a span to do a single shade?

Will it be too heavy to operate?

If I do two shades it might not look right. I have a Dark Grey West Elm Cover and wanted to do dark grey roman with white drapes on the sides. How would a separation look down the middle? :-(

Thank you,

Elaine
