Help! I can’t make a decision- literally!

I need help with a remodel of my kitchen and new dining room, which is currently an enclosed sunroom. My kitchen has a sliding pass-through window that we’re going to remove when the remodel starts. I’m trying to decide if I should take the granite all the way across through where the current window is so that there will be counter seating in the dining room as well as 3 counter stools at the kitchen peninsula; or should I put a piece of furniture (like a large buffet) instead of running the granite through to the dining room. I personally think the granite going through (without the current 4” lip) will make the kitchen look bigger and a little more custom/expensive. Thank you!
