Types of 220V Outlets? Some typical Amps?

I'm in the process of planning a new home w/ a detached shop. I'm adding these specs and could use a sanity check to see if they sound reasonable or not... - thanks

  • Detached shop inside back wall: Two(2) possible uses: One car lift has option for 110V or 220V (faster lift rate is all) and possibly getting into beginner hobbyist welding as needed on small projects. I could probably get away w/ a dedicated 110V 20A outlet. But thinking it wouldn't hurt for 'future proofing' to consider a 220V 20A (or 30A?) stubbed in a gang box for some future receptacle as needed like a 6-50R?
  • Attached garage back wall: Future proof for possible EV charger in next few years. There's a good chance we will have one EV. Not saying it will be a Tesla but looking at their specs as an example, they call out a NEMA 14-50 at 50A (wow - that seems high!)
  • Patio: Surface J-Box for a future hot tub. If we get one it will be the smallest 2-person we can find. Some are dual voltage, but to be safe, 220V 20A (or 30A?)
  • Under bathroom vanity: Possibly adding a point-of-use 6 ga hot water heater. Actually it's 110, 16Amp. Would that be a standard 110 outlet? Maybe a dedicated 110V 20A outlet? 20A GFCI since it's under the vanity?
