I don't know if your mango is a small growing type but mangoes can grow into large trees if they get the right conditions. So I would reccomend planting away from any buildings and try to prune into a suitable shape for ease of harvesting. Just an observation but smaller trees seem to have more fruit on them and they are much easier to pick. Be careful of the sap from mango stems as it can irritate the skin and eyes. Good luck.

This is a pic of a mango from my keitt this past summer. I planted the tree at the beginning of spring, the tree was four feet tall, and it bloomed nicely. I had several mangoes, this pic is the largest one. It was delicious and easily sliced because of the thin seed. I use mushroom compost, rabbit manure, chicken manure, and leaf compost. I would also like to mention that my Keitt is now starting to bloom and its December! Daniel, you are lucky to have a wife who understands! My husband is happy too, as long as they're fruiting trees and he reaps the benefits : ) Wow, that's an impressive collection you have there. What type of avocado do you have? What about your papayas? I've always wanted a sweet yellow peach of some sort, but they won't grow my climate... funny how that works.
