Cut back DdB before giving her away?
Comments (5)Trish, so you had a rootball that you stuck in water, right? I won't have that, but I don't think it will matter since the roots will still be in water. Cutting the tops that short makes sense. I haven't planted any bare root roses, but I've been planting daylilies where you make a cone of soil and lay the roots around the cone. Does that sound like a good plan? Don't know for sure if she has a bed ready to receive the rose. But at least if I do it this way, she can pot her up properly when she gets her home. I guess the roses that were moved to your house included Teas? Did you cut them back immediately before digging them up? Did you root prune some time before the actual move? Thanks!! Comments (90)I wasn't complainin' Stush, just curious about arrival. Not a big deal and I hope that work slacks off a bit so you can enjoy your plants. Hopefully this one will do better than the last, warm weather coming on will certainly help with that. Chris, these yellow Xanadu's are not the strong growers that the green ones are and they definitely don't like being transplanted. I found two tiny little ones that I thought I lost, they might be big enough to send toward the end of the summer if you want to try one. Just remind me. Russ...See MoreAll click bags in the mail.
Comments (16)Good news! Mine finally arrived today! I really love it, and it’s the perfect size for the small items in my everyday bag. Thank you so very much! USPS sucks. I will also say Amazon prime pretty much sucks for me anyway. I ordered 3 items last Friday morning. Nothing has arrived. When I check my order page, there is a ‘sorry’ message that says I should receive them today or tomorrow. All three? Really? This isn’t the first time, so I am going to call this time to customer service. Ridiculous to pay for Prime and then not receive any benefits,...See MoreA Click Bag give away.
Comments (32)Oh! These are great little bags! Kathy gave me one when we met several years ago. I love mine! I keep little things for knitting and crocheting in mine, to keep with whatever project I am working on. If you win one, you will love it!...See More
