Living Room interior design has me stumped
Comments (5)I actually like the way you have it set up now. You do need to add accessories: lighting, art, a few more pillows, and drapes to soften the room. Add lighting to the sofa console too, along with a few books and other items. Don't crowd it, but it needs something to warm it up. I would add one more chair as someone posted above to make it a conversation area. Add the chair in front of the window facing the sofa area. The only piece of furniture that i would change is the TV console. It is too short and too high IMO. Go with something long and low and remove that small end table that is in the corner next to the tv console. ^ I like the floating console look, but you can also get a long freestanding console. In this particular application, the back wall is painted (near) black so the TV blends into the wall....See MoreDesign issue?....help!.... interior design help!....
Comments (9)I don't understand the island, dining room table and bar - are any of these built in? If the entertainment center is built in where you show it- you will need chairs to face it. You can have some conversation chairs facing the couch but day to day it will need to be where you have it....See MoreAdvice Needed: Living Room Interior Design

Comments (1)The second photo…is that another peaked doorway to the left of the fireplace? A sofa facing the fireplace with a chaise on the end near the window would work well. What is to the right of the fireplace? Picture please of the entire fireplace wall and the opposite side of that space would be helpful....See MoreHU-187528210
