Comments (15)Wow. Thank you all! Love these suggestions! I don’t think painting it blue/green is the way to go (thanks for the images, Melissa, very helpful!) Maggie, I wish I could just touch it up with Howard’s, but it’s wood wrapped with linen fabric and so the dings and scratches are bright white and almost look like the table is plastered underneath the paint so I have to paint it one way or another. Norwood, the tortoise shell desk is gorgeous. But perhaps too too busy for my space? Maureen, I am in the process of getting new lamp shades. Love the other ideas as well! Comments (11)I agree accessorizing the room would inform the table's look. You have a lot of options in terms of colour! If going with an eclectic boho vibe, I'd be tempted to consider a medallion paint stencil for the top, upholstering the top with fabric or adding texture with fluting. I'd want to soften this table's angularity a bit. I can easily see b&w for this table or warm neutrals. Comments (2)It really depends on the seat height of your sofa and chairs. Generally speaking, seat heights are ~18" to 20", so your coffee table should be roughly the same height. Some modern sofas are very low to the floor, in which case your coffee table should be similarly low....See Moreeld6161
