I was really glad to see the upholstered bed in the second bed option, cause as I was looking at the room pics & sketch, that what I had in mind IMMEDIATELY. I LOVE that room (LOVE small spaces) & here's my suggestions: 1. Upholstered bed in natural linen. 2. Closet wall & crown moulding in SW Westhighland White. Walls & ceiling in Canvas Tan (flat) 3. Bedding in a soft color...no pattern. Pattern will only make the room smaller. 4. An upholstered bench at the end of the bed in the same linen as the bed with perhaps contrast welt in the color of the bedding. Ebony legs. (Check out Bassett Furniture for both the bed & the bench as an alternative to where you're looking) 5. Ditch the globe pic. Whatever goes over the bed needs to be a simple stretched canvas in soft colors, or sepia tones. 6. I vote for simple bamboo or burlap roman shades inset on the windows. 7. Think more about texture than color & pattern in this room. 8. Consider these for over the nightstands to save all table space. Haha ya my dad would NEVER have let me put those stickers on..but oh well. Yes the stickers will all come off both the wall and head board. Ha Patricia if you up to the challenge....I am looking into doing a brand new flooring for my entire upstairs...3 bedroom and a small hallways.....all rooms have the same espresso dooring and trim.....walls are more on the white with maybe a tinge of grey in them...I can show pics. I hate the rug in the boys room so I want to replace the entire upper floor flooring but need ideas for something that works with what I have ie...the base boards and doors.

Thanks Susan. Actually the furniture I’m getting are part of a specific group, but don’t all match. I know there is this design trend to get mismatched pieces, but to me it’s too much like getting the hand me downs from my parents for picking up random items that don’t go. Right now I have mission style Sauder dressers I bought at Shopko and a vintage looking nightstand, and they don’t match at all. Having some sort of coordination will be welcome. I could use some help picking out which night stand though. Here are the pieces. I’ll post the two nightstands in a separate comment.

Can the bed be moved away from the window a bit? It looks crammed over there, and it appears that there is ample space between the bed and vanity. In your shoes, I would: Replace the nightstands with something wood - maybe a small dresser on one side and a round table on the other. They don't need to match, just coordinate. Replace the lamps with something less office-y/hotel lobby. Lower the headboard. Add a larger textural rug. Maybe sisal or jute if you want beachy or a subtle geometric pattern? If you want a leaner mirror, get rid of the vanity and place the mirror on that wall with a nice reading chair and floor lamp. You don't need two large mirrors in that space. ART!
