I actually have a similar situation- mint green. I have to remove vanity to remove rusted out sink unless a top mount might be an option. I have to remove tub too, so I'm grieving the possible loss of mist of my mint green tile because, as with yours, the vanity is tiled into the wall, and who knows what will happen with tub tile. If it's I will save all I can and polish it cover old terrazzo with loose lay. If top mount sink won't save the day, I'll use a nice pedestal sink and either try to match lower walls with diy paint tile glaze or use ship lap wainscote. I began trying a diy to remove vanity and felt horrible cutting into that wonderful, old tile job. It was impossible to do, and I mangled it badly. Tile is backed with metal lathe. Yours will be too. That said, don't live with this design if you don't like it. Just keep you design in keeping with the period of your home. Please do that. If my tile can't be saved, I'll go with the white walls wood look planks with rivets, pedestal sink or pink ceiling, black and white tile and white vaniGood luck. Don't spend too much unless not an object. Lol.

I love this. You have a built in laundry folding station/fix-it project tabletop (store tools) AND ‘standing catch all‘ when you have too much stuff in your arms (read: up from basement/in from garage). Organize with shelves/drawers/sliding panel of pegboard (on wall side). Tons of led lights under shelves/in drawers/on work surface means you can see what you’re looking for. Trim the front with durable knee-bump friendly beadboard. bonus if you incorperate ’sink-front flip-open hinges’ for pens/pencils/screwdriver on front. I’m jealous.

is this for a tub? That large tile, it's going under the tub on this cement board? or is this a shower floor? I hope its not a shower floor! That wood curb also needs to be completely covered. Can we see how the shower is being formatted for the waterproofing? what if you stacked the large tile on the floor? basically like this. (I think it's too large for that small space. there's going to be a lot of cuts, which is a waste for this large format tile) any chance of doing something diff on the floor? diff tile altogether? you're doing the plain white tile on the wall, the hex on the shower floor, and then you have the small space for the other tile? is the shower tile going in like this? (you'll notice the square tiles on either side in the white) you could do a larger hex tile (this is a 2") and use it for all of the floors. you doing a niche? w/the hex tile? I did this layout for my neighbor. used a recycled white glass tile for the niche. (it's not green) or, do a larger, darker hex or something like this gray I'd rather use a longer tile for the shower, like this. can you get that tile in a larger size? you could use this tile on the outside floor in a herringbone or some other layout even this size is better. looks like a 3x12. you could do this on the floor in a diff type of layout I like this basketweave layout or, try a terrazzo look 24x24 size tile for the floors

Once you get your layout than you can design the space to make it feel like it's always been part of the hourse. It's not a huge space so I'd keep the tub and shower combo but I'd change the location to where the closet is currently. You can add trim around the tub to make it fit with the Victorian vibe that you want. Add the arched doorway like you want and then add a lot of beautiful molding to the walls. I've shown the bathroom with double sinks but you could retrofit an old dresser to use as your vanity. Where you current vanity now sits, place an etagere or custom built-ins for storage.
