Floof What have you discovered a new use for
Comments (26)Old white washcloths become dishcloths. I set them aside out of the washer, then bleach the bunch prior to washing. I don't even try to open most bottles anymore; just use the pliers that live in the kitchen junk drawer. I clip coupons to my shopping list with a clamp clip and use the clip to keep the list visible on my purse in a shopping cart. (I also like bpath's magnetic clip idea, but my fridge has a cabinet wood front, so no magnets there.) If I hold the list I will lose it several times in each shopping trip when I need to use both hands on something, then walk off without it. Like Elmer, I fold under a bit at the end of a roll of tape. I'm going to need to cut the tape when I use it next; can trim off that little bit....See MoreFloof! Whats your sign?
Comments (39)I had a friend in Vancouver who was born 2-1/2 days after me, and so his moon was exactly 30 degrees from mine at 22° Gemini while mine is 22° Taurus. The rest of our charts are pretty much identical, except that he has Aries rising, and I have Leo rising - both fire signs. Anyway, we have a lot of unusual things in common, including the same eyeglass prescription, and so we could see with each other's glasses. He remained one of my best friends for many years, until I think his health declined, but I'm not exactly sure, because at some point it became impossible to contact him. My brother and I are both Pisces (as was our grandfather), and we do fit the descriptions. There are not any other signs that describe us as well. BTW, Aries and Pisces are the two most different signs, since they are the first and the last, and Aries is Cardinal Fire, and Pisces is Mutable Water. The cusp of Pisces/Aries is the most difficult to interpret of all the cusps. I get along unusually well with Aries women, but I do have a few problems with some Aries men - mostly because they often seem to be bouncing off the walls, especially if they have a lack of focus. The Aries energy can be too much for me at times, but for some reason I've had a lot of friends who are Aries women....See MoreFloof- What kind of pants do you wear?
Comments (63)My husband asked me recently do I own a dress. No I don't. After losing all my clothes in the flood I have been rebuilding my wardrobe. I have no need for a dress. I do have a couple of skorts from Costco but I don't know if I have ever worn them. Most of my days are spent indoors at home. I prefer comfortable clothes so leggings, yoga pants and capris, and bike shorts in summer with Tshirts and long tunic tops are my favorites. When I am cold it's sweats and fleece. I bought several items from 32 Degrees during the sale including the down coat and vest. Luckily here in Houston area we don't have a long winter but it has been colder for a few years. I found some pants for my husband on Amazon they are ripstop have a lot of pockets and fit beautifully. He loves them I bought every color and it's become his every day pants. He gets asked about them often. The brand is Clothin. While dealing with the broken leg and boot I have been wearing spandex capris....See MorePie floof! what's your favorite
Comments (101)"I have lived in the San Franciso Bay area by the way." I said nothing disparaging about the South other than to say fried food is much more common than in other parts of the country. And that parts of Missouri I've been to (yes, the southern part) seemed much more "Southern" than not. That was in response to littlebug's photo showing that cafe's every special that day, dessert included, was fried. I'm sure living in different places had many positive aspects for you. Are you the person who mentioned some time ago having spent time living in Davis? With the exception of UCD that gives it some of a college town vibe that could be anywhere, I think Davis is much more accurately described as a Sacramento Valley location than a Bay Area one. Don't you?...See Moreskibby (zone 4 Vermont)
