The bark on the trunk of my Hibiscus detached from the trunk. SO SAD

I live in Mesa,, Arizona. My hibiscus is about 10 years old and generally lives inside. Over the last 2 years she has been deteriorating. Finally figured out I had fungus gnats and black beetles. Treated with soapy water first. Not enough help. She stopped growing and her leaves turned pale green. Then the dried, died and most fell off. I have trimmed her dry branches back near the natural splits. Still have fungus gnats but founds a Bayer insecticide/ fertilizer that saved my baby hibiscus and hoped it would save Irene. She now has detached bark that has peeled off most of her trunk. I started to peel it back to see if her trunk was still green and moist. It is, but there was white and brown fungus under the bark. Since it was falling off I peeled away what was not attached and then cut it away from the bark that is still attached. But now her entire trunk has no bark. She's going to die, huh?
