Cosmetic updates to a half bath with offset sink- need style help!

Updating a new house and I’m hitting some roadblocks on this half bath. Here’s what is planned already:
1The flooring is going to be replaced with a light-medium ash blond me composite hardwood
-I do plan on using Rustoleom tub & tile to paint the wall tiles white
-the current counter and sink is coming up, and being replaced with a white piece of marble with sink included

And that’s as far as I’ve gotten. With the white tiles, I’m not sure what color to do on the top half of the walls or the vanity. That will be sanded and repainted, just not sure what color. The ceiling light needs replacing, I was thinking a multi-globe fixture for a softer light diffusal. I would prefer a wall fixture but due to the chimney placement right behind this bathroom, it’s more work to move it than I want.

There’s a lot of gray elsewhere in the house so I feel like I should use this small room for some (muted) color. Style is California coastal/mid century inspired. I was leaning towards black or gold fixtures, or a mixture of the two. Just stumped on a color scheme.
