LImewashed brick exterior? Is it solid or just tinted?

Hi there! We are considering limewashing our exterior for all the benefits it brings--updating the current mid-toned red brick, plus the affordability and environmental reasons. We would like a solid white but don't want the maintenance of painting it white every 3-5 years or the cost of a product like Rhino Shield, which would be about $10k. A lot of photos we see of limewashed brick seem to be similar to a tinted white, which gives it a shabby chic look in my opinion, or a time-worn look that is the opposite of what we are going for. We want clean and crisp...modern farmhouse chic, coastal, mid-century

, or transitional, for example. Anyone know how we can limewash it so that it comes out a solid color, like paint? or have another idea on how to secure a low-cost, low maintenance paint job? We would also consider grey. Please note that we have a white/greyish metal roof, not black as show in this stock photo. But this is a general idea of what we are going for...
