Adorable, for sure.

That looks like a puppy just ready to cuddle. Maybe a little more grooming when grown than I'd want to commit to - but a darling pup ;0)

Oh, she's adorable ! I just want to hug her ! I understand what you mean about wanting ever dog you see, because I'm the same way. I love dogs and haven't had one since 2011. I want a small dog so badly, but just don't know if I'm able to take care of one.

She's adorable. I'm the same, love every animal I see. Lol.

What a cutie!

I get my dog loves from my son's golden retriever and my niece's Shiba Inu both of whom I walk. Dogs are too needy for me to own one.

Blfenton, my friend has a Shiba Inu, they are so cute! And a nice size, too big, not too small. My friend wrote a book, The Total Shiba, do you know it?

Xena, Warrior Princess!! SO adorable!!!

Beautiful looking dog but I would be concerned about mixing those two dissimilar breeds. What if a dog had the body size of a husky and the tiny internal organs of the pom? Yes, that could happen.

bpath - No I haven't heard of it. I googled it and it got really good reviews. Congrats to your friend. The sister-in-law of a good friend of mine breeds them.

My niece's Shiba is almost 14 and I've been walking him for 7 years now and he is such a nice dog. Still acts like a puppy sometimes. We saw a 5 1/2 month old one yesterday at the park and what a cutie.

There are a couple of Shibas in my neighborhood. I've always been drawn to them, they're so cute.

PUPPY BREATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a sweet face!

I want! I want! I want!

All I have is a cat who adopted us!

I live near Amish country, yeah, thus puppy mills. You wouldn't believe the combination dog breeds they come up with and sell for thousands of dollars. Thousands.

Anyway, Xena is a CUTIE. Beautiful markings.

Such an adorable dog. All I saw on MY 1.5 daily walk today were ten deer. So pretty to see but not cuddly for sure.

big dog in a small package ...

Schoolhouse, my g/f (Gino's Mom) and I are going for a trip on Sunday to get a dog that was rescued from a Mennonite puppy mill. She's 7 and is too old to have pups so she was going to be shot.

She's never been outside, loose, on a leash, never been for a walk, etc etc. My friend knows that there's going to be a lot of work involved, but she's willing to give it all to give her a loving home.

Jasdip - that story breaks my heart.

seagrass

Jasdip - let us know how the dog is and how everything goes. I wish the very best for the dog and hope she has the puppy-life that a dog deserves.

Mennonites and Amish are horrible people to animals. They are just a commodity to them. The poor dogs never leave their cages and walk on wire until they are saved or shot.

I'll keep you all posted and take lots of pictures. We're taking Gino of course to see how he acts with her. She told me to stay in the car while she's being introduced to the dog, because I can get excited :-)

But they will be in booster seats in the back of the car, and if she gets fussy, scared, etc on the way home, I can sit in the back and comfort her.

This is Gino in the booster seat that I have for my car when I have him.

It also came in use when I borrowed Chia, another friend's dog for this years Ride for Dad

I live in Mennonite country.

Lily, my aunt and uncle raised, bred and raced Standardbred horses. I remember vividly her always saying she will never sell any of their horses to Mennonites.

Another dog lover here, I want everyone I see! We were at the mall yesterday. On the way out my DH took me into a store that he had been in earlier just to meet the resident dog there. He called her name and she came wiggling and wagging her butt out from behind a counter to greet us. A beautiful white English Bulldog. The largest most sturdily built one I have ever seen. But what a sweetie! If I would have been able to get her on the scooter with me, I would have whisked her out of there when nobody was looking and brought her home with me!
