The brown, dried edges to what few holes I can see would indicate that any insect damage - if this is what it is - is not recent. So therefore little chance of finding the actual culprits. But as noted, there are very few holes so not something I would be concerned about. We do not live in a perfect world and plant foliage will often be damaged by insects.....that's just the way it works :-) Unless the infestation was very severe - and this is not - then leaving the plant alone and letting nature take care of it is by far the best method to follow.

Ok thanks. FYI it definitely is recent since those are new leaves that only bloomed within the last week or so.

The leaves are still being damaged by whatever is causing the holes. You can see in this photo the brand new red leaves have holes so it's not something that is only damaging the old leaves. I've looked completely over the leaves and can't find any insects. Is it possible it can be from a fungus or wind or sun damage?

So I'm now having an issue with the leaves burning at the tips. It's pretty widespread and even showing up on the very new leaves. Any idea what the problem might be? I've been watering it every few days with tap water (barely been getting any rain over the past few months). Since I assume my water is on the alkaline side, I put soil acidifier on it on May 8, and last fertilized it with a 10-10-10 slow release on February 7. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi, Jabuticabas love water, here in Brazil they thrive planted by the river and getting tropical storms. They also like very slow release fertilizers, dont try to grow them quickly, they are slow growers. So, be sure you are giving it lots of water, those leaves look like drought or fertilizer burn.
