I have a Whirlpool Aqualift gas range. I've had several brand name ranges in my lifetime and ALL EXCEPT THIS ONE cleaned like a charm with their "self-clean" or "continuous clean" feature. This Whirlpool range came with this brand new house when we bought it in 2016. As anyone who knows me could tell you, I've always kept my ranges clean. And with just my husband and myself living in our homes, I would generally only run the self-clean or continuous clean twice a year AT MOST! With THIS range, when it came time to do my first cleaning, I was excited to think of using this "new and innovative" new feature called Aqualift! WHAT A BUMMER! It ONLY cleans the bottom cavity where you pour the water. It's doesn't clean the edges of that cavity or the sides of the oven or the oven ceiling!!!! And now, five years later, I have a very dirty oven because foods just get burnt on even more although I use the Aqualift once or twice a year - AS I'VE ALWAYS DONE!! And it is such an insult to be told that we just need to clean it more often!! It's 2021!!!! We don't pay good money for ovens that must be cleaned THOROUGHLY after EACH use!!!!!!!!!!! At the VERY LEAST, Whirlpool should have given customers a great big warning in red saying YOU MUST CLEAN YOUR ENTIRE OVEN THOROUGHLY EVERY TIME YOU USE IT OR IT WILL NEVER BE CLEAN!!! But we all know why they didn't do that - BECAUSE NO ONE WOULD BUY THE RANGE - THAT'S WHY!!!! ............Is there anything we can do? They owe us BIG TIME! ................We're considering another move and I literally fear that some gal will love this house and think it's so clean and nice - then she'll open the oven door!!!!!! AQUALIFT COULD LITERALLY AFFECT THE SELLING OF HOMES!!! If anyone is acting on this situation legally, please comment & let us know what we can do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

kimberly42- try tweaking the leveling yourselves if you can get to the feet. it helped when we fiddled with our washer ourselves. aim for perfect level and perfect plumb while the machine is spinning a heavy wet load. remember to loosen the lock nuts, then tighten them up to the machine when you've done the best you can. oh, and other poster here had written a great post on leveling that advised watching the feet closely while the machine is spinning (lay down on the floor) and adjust any feet which seem to wobble.

Mary, Are you referring to window restoration or just sealing up some existing windows? The two are going to be very different type professionals. If it it just sealing up some exterior trim on windows, a decent painter can do that. If its window restoration, that is a different ball of wax. Window restoration is a very niché marketplace. The best thing to do is start with a Google area search near your home and especially in those areas that are more heavily concentrated in older homes. Next would be to ask around any of the historic districts that are in your area and see who they might have a list for. Hope this helps.

My only idea would be to check your junk/spam folder. If Facebook claims it sent an email to the Verizon mail server, whether or not it actually gets there should have nothing to do with your machine. Right? How are you checking your mail? Are you using a client such as Outlook or Thunderbird to read mail? If so, you might eliminate that variable by logging directly into Verizon's mail server. "Accessing your email Type http://webmail.verizon.com/signin into your Address Bar. Enter your Verizon Online user name and password. Preview your Inbox, send email and create additional accounts." (That's from https://www.verizon.com/support/residential/internet/highspeed/email/setup+and+use/questionsone/90628.htm) -------------------------- If you are logging directly into Verizon's mail server, maybe their "Spam Detector" mistook it for spam? "How do I view messages that Spam Detector filters? Spam Detector immediately deletes spam messages unless you arrange for Email & More to save the messages to a spam folder. If you have Spam Detector set up to save spam (for a maximum of seven days), you can view the messages by opening your SpamDetector folder. To access your SpamDetector folder: Log in to Email & More. From the left navigation bar, click Check My Email. From the left navigation bar, click Folders. Click the SpamDetector folder visible in the body of the page. Note: Verizon Online utilizes Spam Blocking technology to filter your email from messages that are considered a security threat. Learn more about Verizon practices relative to the filtering of email sent to verizon.net email customers." (That's from https://www.verizon.com/support/residential/internet/fiosinternet/email/troubleshooting/questionsone/85660.htm) ----------------------------- In case stuff Spam Dectector detects as spam is getting deleted immediately, this might help: How do I set up Spam Detector? "How do I set up Spam Detector? In order to set up Spam Detector, do the following: Visit Mail from the bottom left hand corner of the preview pane or from the upper right hand corner, using the drop-down menu under Email. Select the Spam Detector tab Options allow you to turn Spam Detector on or off, place spam in a Spam Detector Folder or delete spam immediately When you are finished, select SAVE You can now close the window pane Once you have chosen your Spam Detector settings, Webmail will keep those settings in place until you decide to make changes." ----------------------- Just thinking out loud, not sure if anything I said helps. :)
