way off topic, my Daughter
Comments (14)Thank you to everyone for the kind words. I think she is pretty special (I know I am biased) It was funny the other day she and the male lead were interviewed on the news, I thought she was going to lean over and tell the news anchor that she wanted his job (he was asking about their future plans) Kylie, they rehearsed for about 2 months before the show began. The kids also build their own sets, wished I could say they were really good at costuming, but they are getting there. I have heard that one of my daughters many talents is climbing scaffolding in high heels. I am so glad I have never seen that! Mary......one more show to go!...See MoreI did it again
Comments (25)ROTF Karyn - oops, sorry. Oh bad seafood - that's just the worst. I was at the lake place and a friend next door, she was storing all the Walleye from the annual Canada trip all the guys take. Well, one weekend, she comes down, she's opening, I wave and yell hi as she's bringing her stuff in, and - MAYBE - 30 seconds later - she comes crashing through the door and smashes right into the railing bending over - and empties her entire stomach over the railing. Her breaker had blown - the fridge/freezer went out - and every single package of walleye and crappie had thawed. When the breaker blew - it had been in the high 90s all week so you know inside the place must have hit 110. We spent the entire weekend cleaning! Eeesh. . .needless to say - she doesn't store the fish for everyone anymore. (grin)...See MoreThe solution for my hot flashes and sleepless nights
Comments (3)i'm being weaned off my meds, been on them for 10 years, this is the last 3 months i'll get, I'm freaking out as I was LITERALLY homicidal, trying to take 1/2 dose for 1 mo, not working, haven't slept for 1 mo. i'm irritable like crazy, can't even stand myself anymore. So i went back to taking full dose which there's maybe 2 months left. I'm searching for HELP. I have all the symptoms STRONG. Hot flashes like crazy, no sleep, exhausted when home from work, just want to be alone....See MoreCabinets finally going in tomorrow... make that TODAY
Comments (51)Ginzhomestead, Yes. I went to three different yards. I had seen Bross blue polished in a kitchen display. I ended up seeing three lots of Bross blue polished and two lots of Bross blue leathered before I tagged my slab. (And that was after I drove my fabricator crazy with quotes for Tan Brown, Steel gray, and quartz lol) For us, it really came down to soapstone or the Bross blue leathered. The Bross blue had a similar look at a significantly lower price point and with tougher wear. Given our household, we thought our pets, kids, etc would take us past soapstone patina and into soapstone destruction. DH and I stayed up late getting all the doors (except the lazy Susan, which is going to require reading the instructions) and drawer fronts on. Since the electrician and plumber address coming soon, I'll go get dressed and save photo updates until the _appliances are in_. I may actually have a functional kitchen before the day is done!!!...See MoreDed tired
