@Ac Lb Hi! I went with SW Alabaster on walls and SW extra white in semi gloss on the trim and uppers. Will post a picture. One thing, use the SW Emerald if going with alabaster - the contractor did ProMar 200 and it was awful. They upgraded to Emerald and it made a HUGE difference, the walls look entirely different.

I can tell you how I'd tackle this. Buy a Color Muse. The app is easy. ***In Settings for the app make sure it is set to Illuminant D65 and 2 degree observer*** Take it with you shopping for counter tops. Measure each sample in 3 to 5 spots to get an average hue angle. You're looking for counter tops with a hue angle that's in the same range as Alabaster's. Because those are the counter tops that directly relate to Alabaster in terms of hue family. In other words, they go together because they belong to the same hue family range. Once you find the ones that relate, take home the biggest samples they'll give you and test, compare, visual check in the space. Finally, you have to go to the warehouse and look at the full size slabs. The alternative is you eyeball the comparison of samples without the support of color data values (measurements).

Hi, I just choose pure white for my cabinets. All the advice i got on here was just to paint the walls pure white. but i will have pure white trim. not sure how that would look with your old trim though, if you say no one notices the diff then might work for you.

It’s looking great! I’m glad you were able to change from Alabaster to Pure White. With your floor, I think Alabaster would’ve had an undesirable yellow undertone. The Pure White will be less finicky. Did you decide on Indigo Batik for the island? Can you post a picture? Also, I’d like to see the lighting you’re considering.
