I'd pick the first one. The wood one is too short and too open. The white one is too narrow, possibly a smidge tall, and I'd want the door to open the other direction. In terms of color, the white seems to fight with the bedding and tries to stand out too much. The wood could work, but there would need to be more wood for it to tie into in the room. While I'm not generally a blue person, I think it works nicely with the walls and curtains. The deep tone doesn't jump out but isn't boring either. I love the teapot!

They are not inexpensive and you could probably find one second hand and just have refinished

What is the reason for blue? I guess I need to see the whole room. is this the bedding you will be using? Is the wall color staying? I need more info. IMO you don’t just pop a color into a space with no connection to anyhing else.I think a wider night table would be better , the bed quite contemrary the night table a bit country, the lamp neither. Please a pic of the whole space from further back and a bit more info.
