IMO you've done the best you can with the limitations of the size, the fireplace and the walkway to the doors. Your only other location for the TV would be the windowseat if you wanted to give that up.

Corner fireplaces can be difficult. In your case, it doesn’t have to be a focal point.

It’s more of how to place the chairs ... maybe the coffee table is too big?

I too have 2 corner fireplaces, and you’ve done beautifully, they are a design challenge, but builders keep doing it. One of my favourite designers says there is a special place in hell for builders who do this! 😂😂😂😂💕

Hahhaha I agree! Our neighbours renovated and took it right out and put it on the wall behind where our couch sits and seating area is in front of the window ... which we did not like as we have a beautiful view

Lol! I agree that you made the best of the placement. It looks very good. I’d maybe remove the chairs and add a bench the the chair closest to me in the picture...

You can maybe redo some of the very patterned pillows. I’d love to see velvets. And textures over patterns. Maybe a blush colored velvet pillow. Beautiful beautiful space.

Well, personally I would choose to be comfortable watching tv. That television is way too high.

The couch moved there would mean basically one person can see tv. And not even straight eye level. Maybe one day in the future. ( I happen to love these couches , but in 10 years when they’re worn...) a sectional and a rotating tv arm night work as a compromise
