Honest opinion here:
Is it ugly. No!! Can it be a sanctuary retreat with some changes. Definitely!
What are you/ can you change? What’s your style?

Honestly it's on the light/bright side for me, but I tend to prefer dark rooms, particularly for bedrooms since we primarily use ours for sleep and sleep only. I do feel like you have several grey going, and the more variants you have of a single color the less likely they will all match. To me the wall and bed/bedding are more in tune (although really, really similar) but the seat is more purple.

Maybe some nice nightstands and perhaps glass lamps? Color, art. Toooooo much grey for me but if you add some color it might be better. The wall sconce seems odd to me. I’d prefer art there.

I like the colour. I think a bench vs love seat would be better at end of bed. It looks too big.

there are obviously other choices than rattan but I’m not sure more upholstery would be right and wood might be too plain or farmhouse

I like it, however I think the loveseat at the foot of the bed doesn't work. it's a warm gray,,number 1, and 2, it's too large.

this type of sofa works w/the bed.

Your small light over the bed? seems too small.

do you have any art? to go below it?

everything in that room is solid. you need some print and some other color

bigger night stands in a wood like your floor, or a white or a gray would be fine.

I'd try a nice light, maybe some like these drapes over the smaller windows

proper size for a bench. but notice the textures and prints in an otherwise very neutral room

lastly, pillows, throws, linen, lighting, some mirrors, art, all in the same shade of grays.
