We’re building a powder room addition with a south facing window. The vanity cabinet is Strasserwood cinnamon-stained cherry. The sink is white porcelain. I was planning to use a cool grey with blue/green undertones on the walls, such as Ben Moore Artic Grey or Pebble Beach, but I just watched a video by a paint expert who said a cool grey will make a warm cherry wood look old and outdated. I tried a sample of BM Moon shine, which is lighter with less blue/green undertone but it looked washed out and not enough contrast with the porcelain top in bright daylight.
