I have Cambria Torquay in my kitchen. It is so beautiful & I could not be happier with it. I too had a terrible time getting my kitchen design place to get a sample so I finally ordered a sample directly from Cambria & it came in a couple of days. Cambria shipped it out the day after I ordered it. It seems that Cambria subcontracts out the job of supplying kitchen design places with the samples & the subcontractors do a really poor job of supplying samples. Cambria themselves were super fast. I had gotten so discouraged waiting for the kitchen design place to get samples that I also ordered samples from Silestone (Lyra & Lagoon) in case I wanted to give up on Cambria. I liked Cambria's Torquay so much better. Torquay's white is whiter instead of being just shades of gray or slightly muddy. It is a very serene design to me. If you have any doubts about what you want and you cannot find a sample, just order a sample. The cost is nothing when you compare living with a countertop pretty much forever. BTW, Cambria's samples are 12"X12" so you get a really good picture of what it is like, not like looking at a 1" square!

I love the Montgomery, but wasn't able to use it because the taupe in it had a purple cast that looked awful in my kitchen. Certainly not a taupe color I'd want to put on cabinets! I liked your original idea of pulling out the green for the cabinets. Definitely use a color you love, and there are several different greens in Montgomery to choose from! We ended up using Hanstone Specchio White instead, because it has many of the same colors as Montgomery (white, sea green, sparkle) -- and no taupe. So you might want to check that out as a possible 2nd counter top choice, in case they look nice together? (Which I did not try, so can't say.) Or in case you want to use it instead? I think it would look super with sea green cabinetry, and would be a lot less busy & less demanding.

Man made quartz is not a printed material. Each slab is different. There are no guarantees about vein matching at all. Great vein matching seams is more the exception than the rule. There are hundreds of threads on this, all with unhappy people because they expected it to be like granite. It isn’t.

I love Cambria Britannica! The Arctic White will look very clean with the countertops. Personally if you want a color that isn't white for the island I would do a gray tone, otherwise I love the all white. Very crisp and clean :) P.S. I love Lunar surface and Silver bullet by behr
