DH said that he heard a taping on the side of the house around 10 p.m. last night........about 4+ hours after dark here. He got up and got a flashlight and looked out and thinks it was a junco pecking on a mud dauber nest on the house. I've never heard of birds (other than owls) looking for food at night. Any ideas?
