Comments (7)BINGO, the universal game. The Lion's Club is holding their annual fund raiser in the park this weekend in my little town. There will be a tractor pull, carnival rides, raffles, food concessions, competitive soft ball games, a rock band in the evenings, and a bingo tent. A little rain shower will not stop the bingo game. Tomorrow, before the grounds officially open, several bus loads will arrive filled with folks who live in assisted living quarters. these people will be delivered to the Bingo Tent. They'll have the facility all to themselves for the next 2 hours. One concession stand will open. A community organization, such as the Boy Scouts, will provide runners to carry sodas and ice-cream from the concession stand to the bingo tent. A tally is kept by the supervisor of the runners and afterward, the runner group will be compensated by the Lion's Club for the treats. Bingo is an item here in churches and civic organizations....See MoreBunny
