Looking to replace windows on old farmhouse and was 'taken' visually by a Westchester by Sierra Pacific sample I saw. They debuted in 2019 and I didn't see anyone that had posted about them here about them, yet. Have 3 quotes from 3 places and pricing was surprising. After I fell in love w the Westchester in showroom, Marvin came in the lowest price. Then the Sierra Pacific dealer said Marvin were a step above?! and this guy didn't even sell the Marvin, anymore. Never bought windows before and find all this very confusing. My question: Anyone out there have the new Westchester by Sierra Pacific? They claim to have double the thickness aluminum of other windows as their exterior 'clad,' and some kind of guard against rot. They seemed premium to me but if Marvin are better, then I save $300/window.
