Paint color for front door and front porch floor
Comments (1)I would stain the flooring, paint can peel and be a bother. For me, I'd stain it dark but that's a personal call. Painting a bright green when the rest of the colors are muted may be too much pop. How about a light green that is in the historical colors so it's muted a bit. I love apple green but muted a tiny bit....See Morefront porch and front yard border design idea?
Comments (4)The picture is no help. move the camera up to the city sidewalk, in line with the front door, and take a series of slightly overlapping pictures that pan the ENTIRE scene from far left to far right, including neighboring houses in the first and last pics. Unless you move the cars for the picture, we wouldn't be able to see left of drive. Please take when light is good. Above picture much too dark....See MoreIdeas? Unbalanced Front Porch Fixtures
Comments (11)Lights flanking a door should be equidistant measured from each side of the door. The electrician messed up. The electrician should be responsible to fix it. Hang it high and remove the wreath. Maybe your house numbers should go where the wreath is. Move that pot of flowers over to that area beneath the wreath for some color. It will be a pain, but you should dig out the rock mulch and extend your porch into that area, replacing the rocks with cypress mulch which ages nicely and repels insects. Since grass won't grow at the tree, lay a small paver patio there and get a nice glider to sit in....See MoreRelated Professionals
