Christmas stationery help

A few years ago some of you gave me sites that I could print paper with Christmas borders. Well, I ran out of ones I printed back then and need more. I went to the site I had saved www.Pageborders.net, but every time I try to print in color I get black and white! I just put new ink in my printer yesterday. My printer copies in color tho. Anyone have a different site I can try?

Try going into "properties" in your printer and check to see if color is highlighted.

My printer defaults to black and white unless I press the color button. You might want to check the actual printer to see what the settings are.

The easiest thing to do is to add fresh greenery to what you already have. I don't know if you are in an area with Trader Joe's, but I was there today and they had beautiful fresh boxwood wreaths for $9.95 each. You could lay a wreath flat on a table (be sure to protect the table) and then put a candle in the middle for an easy decoration. Costco usually has huge live poinsettias for under $20. One on either side of your hearth would add lots of color and texture. The nice thing about fresh items is that they don't require storage from year-to-year. You can just dispose of them when you finish using them.

I love buying notecards, and I always find them in cute gift shops when travelling. I inventory them; i have two plastic file boxes. And then another box for holiday cards. If I have to go looking, I guess maybe Papyrus but a lot of their cards are too OTT for me. I like Rifle Paper Co, which Anthro carries. I think the Paper Source is good too.

Or you could go to staples and they have preprinted sheets with borders on them...

I typically write our letter and put borders on the page and then go to fed ex to have nice color copies run on decent paper. Not the cheapest, but it works for me.

All good ideas, but now that I'm thinking about it, my printer wasn't printing color for awhile, except when I had to print the test page. Guess it's time to call HP for help!

Well, I ended up having to call HP, and after about an hour my printer was up and running, in color!

Ended up using the same website I had used before www.pageborders.net

It worked well for me. Thanks for trying to help. All my printers fault!

Yep, not ever gonnna be the sites fault. After a recent change of ink we too had issues getting color to print. Glad you persisted and figured it out. With the price of ink we found printing at home to be about the most expensive way to get color of Christmas letters. DH's company only charges him $.05 a copy.
