Standing seam metal roof and ease of cleaning off tree debris

We live the the pacific northwest which receives consistent rainy periods several times of the year. As we consider a standing seam metal roof, one thing keeps coming up... Debris. The house is close to both cedar and maple trees which generate a decent amount of leaves and soft needles that blow onto the roof. With the addition of partial shade, this leads to decent moss growth on our current asphalt roof if not cleaned every month or so in the Fall. Slope of the roof is semi-low/conventional at 4 in 12.

Has anyone found a benefit of a metal roof in these conditions? I imagine some debris will wash off with heavy rains, but I also hear that the seams may keep the debris from blowing off at other times. We also have several skylights that can collect debris on their upper side that might be a bit harder navigate on a slick metal roof. The goal is overall less maintenance and moss growth. Thoughts?
