YES! There are thousands of plants that you could grow but no one can sensibly answer because we don't know what your minimum temps are in that area.

What do you suspect to be the minimum temps in that area?

I overwinter, Citrus, Oleanders, cycads, chill tolerant palms, tropical ferns, epiphytic cacti, succulents, and even bananas in my cold but frost proof garage.

P.S., I am also in NJ/Zone 7A/B

Yes, the main concern is whether or not it freezes inside that room on your coldest night of the year. Surely it gets some heat from the attached house, like a garage, but only you can tell us how cold it gets in there. Many unheated garages will stay in the 40's at their lowest, mine only gets to the 50's, but some do freeze. Makes a huge difference on what kind of plants will survive. Time to get a min/max recording thermometer! :)

I purchase a $20 remote, thermometer from HD a few years ago..., LOVE IT! It remotely records (my garage is remote and out yonder), the minimum and maximum temperatures within a 24 and 48 hour period, and all time maximums and minimums.

Having said that, I suspect that your solarium does not see hard frosts and, therefore, you can potentially grow thousands and thousands of species. Many subtropicals and tropicals will even do better in the solarium than in a overheated, DRY, home intended for humans.

So the minimums can be in the single digits at the coldest part of the winter. Typically around January and February. The hottest part is sull’atto July and august with temps in the high 90’s low 100’s but very humid.

With that being said. It is attached to the main tv room so we could open the door to let some warm/cold air out. Also, I have I small but powerful (energy efficient) space heater for fall/winter.
