I just thought of this because I needed a way to move a very heavy little dresser from Ikea. I bought it, the friend I went with volunteered to put it together for me. She's 10 years older than me but in much better shape than me. Thinking of having to get up after sitting in the floor putting something together like that made me not buy it the first time we went up there. Anyway it is nearly put together and we are going to have to move it from her house, into my car and then into my house. She said even without the drawers it is super heavy.

I was sitting there trying to think of how we are going to move it when I realized I had a garden cart/dolly thing I use in the garden. My son got it for me for Christmas last year. A Worx garden cart. It's a wagon, wheelbarrow, dolly, boulder and pot mover all in one. I've been using it as a wagon. I had my son put it together before he left because I knew I wouldn't be motivated because I'm so out of shape. He did. So have been using it as a wagon, pulling dirt, garden soil, straw bales around the yard this year. I went on YouTube last night to see how to convert it to a dolly. It is so easy, simple. I also realized I should have been using it in the wheelbarrow mode to make it easier/less heavy to move things. I got out my old wheelbarrow to move the gravel I bought last week. It was so heavy my back hurt. Didn't want to use my "new" cart, scratch it up. But I still have 3 tons to move and I am definitely going to use it now that I've watched those videos.

Anyway, it's a great cart and after watching the video on how to remove the front wheel/wagon pull I went out and did it in about a minute. Took that long because I am kinda dumb when it comes to things like that but it was so easy. No tools to remove and change parts around. It even will pull a trailer hitch thing that weighs a lot. It's amazing.

Almost every product I have loved has been discontinued or never made it past the test marketing phase, or had to be replaced because it could not be repaired.

The one thing I am holding onto is a garden tool that is made from 5 rounds of springy steel flattened on each end. I have no idea where it came from but it is so handy for so many things including a back scratcher. Have to be careful with the back scratching part.

peony23, I would still go with the Inax, though I would get the mid-ranged model, called the "R". I have the "L". They both have a wall mounted remote which I like, though others have said the seat mounted type on the "C" is working fine for them without issue. The "C" is the lowest priced model of the 3. The middle priced model "R" still has a blow dryer like the highest priced "L", but not the higher wattage fan that the model "L" has. But I hardly use the fan. The "R" looks like it has a lower profile in the tank area too. What I wish though, is that I could switch the one in this guest bathroom (referred to above) to my progressing remodel, and get the "C" Inax for the guest bath, as it has the lowest profile at the back and would go much better with my traditional toilet. But my new remodel has an elongated toilet seat and my guest bath is a rounded front. I will link the website to Inax. The price listed on the web site is not what you will have to pay. I think I paid around $800 for the "L" online. Terry Love forum sells them but I don't know if he has the "R", I only saw the "L" and the "C" on his site. The reason I would stay with the Inax is that I have had very good use with mine over the last year. They've been producing the advanced toilet seat for years and were the pioneers of the system. They have a good reputation. Another reason is that there are two wands that do the washing, one for the front area and a second, at a different angle, for the posterior area. These were strategically angled to provide the best cleaning of these differing areas. I went with the Inax initially because of recommendations by Herring_Maven who has very detailed comments and thoughtful post here, and on other forums at GW. Ack! dlm, I forgot to post back. First, my gray is a Dove Gray (light). In darker areas it's a mid-level, maybe a battleship gray? Charlie's soap powder form, diluted in water, scrubbed, let it sit, scrubbed again, wiped. Probably got it up to 60%. Then I did a different section with diluted Charlie's soap and Oxyclean scrubbed in on top of that. Let sit maybe 20 min, scrubbed, 'rinsed'. Much better. Not 100% like the light Dove gray at outer perimeters of floor, but easily 80 to 85%. Close enough you have to really be staring at it to see the difference. (Can't get a pic to show it well, shadows from vanity are throwing off grout.) So I'll clean it good that way & immediately seal, and I'll be happy. :) If you want to check it out, I don't know how close this is to you, but if I'm downtown & need some CS I get it Be By Baby (Wrigleyville area). Easy metered parking on side street (I always find a spot - a miracle!). Or you can go to CS website, maybe there's a dealer near you. (Not me, it's either downtown or mail.) I also get through Amazon. Free super saver shipping + $11.50 or so is a good price. (Think it's about $14 at Be By Baby). I wasn't impressed with their bottled spot treatment. For the price I just put a scoop (abt 1TB) of powder in a spray bottle, make my own, works just as well.

I won't say there's anything I'm so emotionally attached to that would constitute "love" be there are several things I like. Deodorant is Mitchum Unscented antiperspirant. Lately, I've had such dry skin on my legs that things won't heal, it itches, I scratch and cycle repeats. The doctor nagged me at the last physical to use some lotion. Well, I hate stinky lotions. I've used the Neutrogena Hand Cream for years and it's not so offensive. A friend used it for years and I tried it decades ago and liked it but didn't have a lot of need for it. It's kind of spendy and you can't empty the tube but I'll pay for quality. I tried one I saw on Youtube, a coconut cream from Dollar Tree and it seems to soak in more quickly than Neutrogena. It's real thin and it has a "coconut" smell that isn't too offensive. Found a "Diabetics Lotion" at Dollar Tree too that I decided to try. It's like a thick toothpaste in texture, maybe thicker, but it's unscented, which does not mean there's no smell at all but there isn't the perfumey stench that most have and it works fairly well. They quit making the White Rain shampoo I liked. One of the few that really worked well but it's gone. Found something similar in Pantene and that's now discontinued. So I use whatever is cheap now. I just found a Gillette body wash that I really like. Smells, but not too offensive, cleans well and rinses well and for me, clean and quick rinsing is very important since I can't stand around waiting forever to rinse off like I could in the past. I too have tried the turmeric curcumin and anecdotally, I'm going to keep using it. I use MoveFree Ultra (one tiny pill instead of 2-3 horse pills for normal glucosamine/chondroitin/msm) and I've been taking ginger root for joint pain too and again, nothing clinical but seems to make a difference. I've been taking cranberry supplements and drink cranberry juice regularly. There's quite a difference there and a multi-vitamin, calcium and when I'm not feeling well I add some vitamin C. I really liked Crest Lemon Ice toothpaste. I actually noticed myself brushing longer with it. I liked the flavor. Discontinued. So I went to the Crest Citrus. Discontinued. Why do people insist on mint for everything? They even discontinued the Equate Citrus mouthwash so now it's pay over twice as much for Listerine or go to mint. For quite a while I switched to the foaming hand soap. I'd either buy the $1 bottles or get a refill and fill the empties. But I came across a lemon scented liquid soap that isn't offensive. Actually smells good. Found a Berry scent at Dollar Tree that also isn't offensive so now I mix them up a bit between the liquid and foam. And for the price, it rivals bar soap cost without the mess.

How about a 5" wedge shaped door draft stopper. Bigger than most I'd seen and the triangle shape works well. The fabric is a little B & W herringbone. I ordered two for a French door. I just got a new chef's knife as a gift for the kitchen. It is a Zwilling PRO 7" Chef's Knife on a special promotion at $59.99. It doesn't match my existing older set of Henkel's 4-star, so I thought about returning it and getting one that matched the set, but that would have been a special order, and would have taken a couple of weeks.

This knife is so much sharper than the existing knives that it is almost humorous. I feel like I'm using a light saber.

Probably because it is new to me but I am just delighted with the second hand, 7 quart air fryer I got a few weeks back. I keep on making different kinds of stuff with it and just marveling at the delicious crispiness of it all!

lucille - isn't an AF great? I've had one for about 4 yrs now and love not using the big oven. I had one of those round ones w/basket for a few yrs then about 2 yrs ago I got an AF oven. I use the AF at least several times a week, sometimes daily. I use the big oven maybe 3 times a yr.

I’ve never used either of these before and I know they’ve been around for decades. I bought them last week on a whim using 2 cash back apps and they were less than $1 each. I’m using the Noxema as a face wash in the shower and using the ponds as a day and night facial cream. I really like them both. The offers are still on the apps so I think I will buy another set.

It has been a long time since I used Ponds so the formulation may have changed. If you have very dry almost cracked skin try it on a small area before you rub it on everything. It contains a small amount of some type of alcohol that really burns.

At Aldi a few weeks ago I bought a red plastic cup with a small silicone tub at the bottom you fill with popcorn kernels and put in the microwave for two minutes. It's the perfect serving for one. I have a big sunbeam one that is cumbersome and always made too much. $4.99.

I’ve been using Ponds for years. About 45 years, in fact. I have forayed into other moisturizers, sometimes a different one for morning or night, but nothing feels as good as Ponds.

My favorite new product is this angled knife. similar to the photo. It was part of an auction bakery package, and we were dubious at first, but wow, it is fantastic for slicing bread and cake! It does look awkward, doesn’t it? But it isn’t, it’s great.

I love the remote starter that SO put on my basic, no frills, doesn't even have power locks or windows, car. He put it on there so that when I get off work in the cold winter mornings, I wouldn't have to wait for the frost to melt off the windows. I love it because in the hot summer, my car is cool and comfortable when I get in it, because the ac has been going for 10 minutes before I get in, and all I and to do was push a button on a remote. I know this is standard on most newer cars. But I bought this car when I was 18, and like I said, it is very basic. The only frills have been put on there by a car loving SO. And I LOVE that thing.

I love my pink air fryer. The BEST way to reheat pizza or fries,hands down.

I love my ninja blender. (Its pink too) It is so handy!

I am sure there are many more, but those come to mind first.

Used Noxema as a child in S. CA. Lived outside and at the pool getting many sunburns.

Kathsgrdn, WORX seems to make great stuff. I have the WORX cordless leaf blower and grass trimmer and I love both of those. My son poo-pooed battery-operated garden tools until he tried mine and he liked them, too. He even bought himself a cordless saw (not WORX brand), and it's amazing what he can cut with that tiny blade !

Woodrose, I only have the one Worx product. I do have multiple battery operating yard tools though. Getting older it was impossible to use my gas powered weedeater. Just pulling on the cord was frustrating. I went to a battery powered, push button start one. I also have a new mini chain saw and have had a trimmer for years now. Love them all.
