Need Help on Kitchen Remodel Idea

Hi all, my wife and I are in process of starting a kitchen remodel. The issue we have is the 'floating' wall that cabinets are attached to on right side has enclosed plumbing so we cannot remove, it's too complicated. We would love to extend the cabinets / counter further out (so stretching towards vantage point of photo) but are wondering if it's a design "faux pax" to have cabinet coming past the wall and baseboard. It seems like it would look odd but we aren't sure. Any ideas on how to deal with this wall? I thought maybe encasing it in marble on both sides would work if you then extend the peninsula out with a marble waterfall on the right side of wall to have continuous material. But that could be too much marble...we are looking for any and all creative ideas! Thanks so much! We want to make the kitchen bigger longer island and more space. we cant take out the wall.... We are updating the kitchen lighter brighter all new hanging light fixtures.
