I know that quartz. I was going to do a bathroom in it and had the sample for a month. Is it Vicostone, which is made in Vietnam but sold under other names? Pentalquartz was the brand I was buying. I couldn't find tile though because we need to do LVT and selection is limited. You'll want to look at lots of porcelain tile and make sure the undertones match. The quartz may have some gray undertones. Check both samples in your lighting. You might try tile with a lot of movement since the counter is quiet. We really can't pick out something for you as there's hundreds of tiles but only a few will be just right. It took me six months to find my kitchen floor tile. I have a quiet greige colored quartz counter and used a floor tile with a V4 level of variation.

Personally, I love the look. Only you can do this math, and it has a lot to with where the rest of your house is at. Unless you're planning to sell to flippers, I think it would be more of a turn off for potential buyers to see a completely gross kitchen than one with nice counters and cabinets that look a bit suboptimal when you examine them closely. Sounds like you will be around to enjoy the quartz for a few years at least, and that's not nothing.

@Woody Vaughan or Shaun Fogarty thanks, thats what we were going for, we used a lot of William Morris wallpaper in other rooms and combined it with a few mcm pieces, some traditional furniture, and focused a lot on texture (velvet, embroidery, tapestries, etc) throughout the house. Overall dark and moody in some rooms with lots of navys and darker greens like BM Herb Garden while keeping a light and neutral look in hallways and areas of low light. We really wanted to focus on preserving the overall characteristics of the house (a 1980s colonial in Marietta, GA) but play up some of its traditional aspects.
