Comments (1)Is the floor concrete? Are you looking at epoxy paints designed for concrete floors? My ex did the garage and it looked great (don't remember what brand he used). What are you planning to use the room for? If it is work space (craft room, shop, hobby room), white or light color might be best, since you'll want to maximize light. Comments (15)I quite forgot the pictures, didn’t I? Well, here we are in the basement a few years later...lived in and quickly tidied up! We love, love, love our LV flooring which we also put in the laundry room with the extra (I can dig up what we used/where we got it if needed. We heard varied results from people using other products but had no problem whatsoever with our installation, usage and wear.) Comments (3)For every trick there is to make a room seem taller, there is an opposite trick that other people swear by...vertical stripes or tall furniture trick the eye into thinking the ceiling is higher...low slung furniture tricks the eye because there is more wall space above the pieces. Unfortunately there isn’t one universal rule that applies, it’s really how YOUR EYE sees objects/designs in the space. Personally, I would just make it attractive to me, forget about ceiling height, it is what it is.
