It needs some softness. You could add a door wreath, door mat, pillow (outdoor fabric) on the bench, planter with flowers or fern.

A large colorful outdoor rug for the concrete landing area in front of the door. Add wood or wood composite elements to go more Mexican/Southwest flair. I wouldn't add any more concrete anything. Install a fountain and keep a bench there but in wood/iron material with a soft cushion and bright colors. Also add art to the walls, think softer materials again like hanging baskets.

Your entrance is lovely and a great canvas to create an inviting experience! Here is what I suggest: place a long thin outdoor rug in the section that has a roof overhang. Maybe you can find a long enough rug that you can cut so that it is angled to be in line with your front door. Place oblong wood planters on the ledge of that front window. Also at that window, place a narrow wooden bench for practical purposes (think groceries not lounging). Then in the section where the current bench is, I would put an outdoor cafe table surrounded by planters (perhaps one in front of each gutter/down spout), and simple outdoor decorations.

I would paint the door white and add wonderful potted plants . Or seating ...look at the HOUZZ photos for entrances and you will see a huge selection . You have a beautiful space ..use it ..

You are in need of some color and texture. An outdoor rug or colorful doormat, and some plants in clay or ceramic pots would be a start. You also need to make sure that the low step up from the paver area to the door area is visible to avoid tripping accidents. You did not show a light fixture in the shadowed area, but you will need a light to show the way to the door after dark.

I'd mount, or have installed, a colorful tile mosaic on the wall/s.

You could even buy stylized tiles, have them mounted and hang them like pictures.

Check out these beautiful washable rugs. Since you're in a relatively dry area, I think you could use one on your porch. Even if it rains, they tolerate water, and your small porch area looks to be in shade for a good part of the time, so it probably won't fade. Fill as much of the area as possible with the rug.

A ton of varied sized pots will go a long way in warming up your entry.

I'd go with a bit of whimsy. Orange pots with plants. Add in some green and purple pots. A colorful wreath on the door. 2 pieces of whimsical artwork and a rug with some vibrant colors.

Perhaps try adding some plants and a chair or two at the entry? Something similar to this below:
