Halloween Costume Update
Comments (5)I've found almost everything I need for my costume! The only thing left that I really need is a pair of 80's style clip-on earrings. Does anyone know where I can find some? I've checked the thrift stores and they hardly have anything. Neither does Wal-Mart or the dollar stores. Brad AKA Moonwolf...See MoreAnyone else dealing with excessive pet shedding?
Comments (29)I bought a Furminator a month ago and love it~~I got the small one (blue handle) since I have two cats, of course the older white cat that sheds the most does not like it but I make her do it! DS used it on the dog she is short haired and she looked better than the last time she went to the groomer. I was taking my white cat to the groomer 2-3X's a year and that helped alot but she meow's so much and is wiggly they do not want her back:( That is from two groomers. The last trip they called early and had me come get her, she is usually the only cat there and she makes the dogs crazy:(...See MoreHalloween Costumes.....Anyone Get Started Yet?
Comments (15)If you haven't found the tux/suit coat yet, I would definitely be looking at the thrift stores. Around here, a man's suit jacket would run about $5. Do you have a local theater company? Some of them rent stuff out at Halloween time, to pick up some extra $$$. A tux coat just might be one they'd rent out. Of course you can rent a real tux coat at any wedding store, too, but probably for more $$. Two of our local theater companies were holding yard sales to get rid of some of their excess costuming. One was last month for San Diego Christian Youth Theater - one of my cast moms went down and picked up some things for us. One such "goodie" was a man's suit coat that had been cut back into an old fashioned suit coat. Another sale is today, and a different mom is going in search of a similar coat in black, or one that she could cut down. Donna...See MoreAnyone else feed Fresh Pet?
Comments (2)Not familiar with Fresh Pet...would that be kibble or canned? Canned has more water obviously, and maybe kitty gets hungry fast if the food digests quickly. Look at the recommended feeding amounts on the package or even go to their website to see if kitty is eating more than is appropriate for his size. Or even email them your question. Or maybe you'll get a better reply than mine here! Good news about the hairballs....See More- 5 years ago
