4. Could I paint the trim Linen White where the cab meets the soffit, but then a slightly different color for the trim that is going where the soffit meets the ceiling, allowing me to use that color throughout the rest of the house? ACK! HELP !!

My vote is to paint the entire bedroom with Linen White. I usually choose Matte for the walls and Satin finish for the trim. The Living Room pictured is painted with BM Linen White.

Instead of repainting the cabinets, I suggest choosing a new wall color! The best way to get what you want is to buy samples first and either paint them on a wall or board and look at them a few days in both natural and artificial light. That will tell you if it will be right or not (It's what I have done with all my paint choices for my house)! I also suggest choosing a color that will work in the entire area and not anymore white.
