Reminds me of some movie goofs ...was it Ben Hur or one of those epics where they had all these extras dressed up as roman warriors and forgot to remind them to remove their wrist watches.

Apparently, though I've never noticed it, the film editors have screwed up when filming a western on location and they forget to take the airplane out of the shot.

Is it photo shopped onto there or is there some reason that those things are there originally? Are they just happening to resemble what we read them to be, or are they just by some serendipity looking like what we read them to be?

The photo is hard to see and not the best for this purpose of "where's Waldo" or "find Elmos toys". .

A bit off topic, but I would recommend the website "Shorpys" if you like to see old images. They are a wonderful source of vintage photos and the resolution on some of those old photos is amazing! Shorpys allows you to view them close up. Amazing stuff! You will, at times, see some unexplainable things in those old photos

I saw it right away - I was particularly looking at the store signs, because my great-grandparents (and grandmother) were living in Detroit in 1910, and gr-grandfather had a store - but I realized I was also thinking of gr-gr-uncle who had a large furniture store on Woodward Ave. in Cleveland at the same time.
